This was a new build after the demolition of an earthquake damaged home on the same site.

All aspects of the build were above level 5 on the risk matrix making it a very high end finish home. Extensive cedar detailed inside and out which was all built with concealed fixings. The interior was plastered to level 5 throughout.

We were working with a demanding client as well as working within the constraints of working with insurance companies, making this a challenging project from start to finish.

Operationally is was very challenging as it was built on a step hill site. We needed to build ramps to enable materials to reach various areas on the site.
There was extensive retaining and footings before the house was even out of the ground.

We completed a very high end architectural home which we delivered ahead of schedule to a very happy client.

This was a hugely satisfying project to build and Irving Builders are justifiably proud of this build
